You win points against each other. You win the mission together.
You get a map full of challenges and a clock that is running. No guide, no fixed route, no team chants. Everything runs on the smartphone you already have.
How it goes
120 minutes through the historic centre. Each team picks its own route. Then the scoreboard counts.
- 01
Form your team.
Four to six per team. Who plays with whom is up to you.
- 02
Choose your route.
No fixed order. Each team decides where it starts.
- 03
Crack the challenges.
On the street, on facades, in details you would otherwise walk past.
- 04
Collect information.
Every clue counts. Even the other team's, if you are quick.
- 05
Finish the mission.
Before the clock stops. After that the scoreboard counts.
Four kinds of challenges
Without giving away the answers.
Type A
Track down
A detail on a facade, a name on a plaque, something that has been there for centuries and nobody notices.
Type B
Crack
A code that only works if you have looked closely. Guessing costs time.
Type C
Decide
Two routes, one time limit. Whoever chooses gains time. Whoever argues loses it.
Type D
Prove
Submit a photo or an answer before the clock stops. The other team sees the scoreboard too.
The clock
You play against each other. Points, pace, a scoreboard that counts live. The chat with the other teams is open. Anything said there might be true.
The final opens. From then on it no longer matters who was fastest, but who listened best.
The result, the full scoreboard, the kilometres you covered and two awards that rarely go to the same team.
What doesn't happen
Nobody has to dress up. Nobody has to talk about their strengths. There is no host, no guide, no circle talk and no group photo you can't get out of.
Plan something better.
For teams that absolutely refuse to do a human knot.
