No. A small group plays the same game as a large one. With ten or eleven players you form two teams that play against each other.
Mixed ages
Can the youngest join?
From age 10 everyone plays. Mixed ages are no problem: the tasks ask for attention and discussion, not fitness.

Who arranges what?
One person books and passes on a QR code. The game explains itself, so nobody has to carry the day.
